Day 1 Afternoon : Nuts and Bolts Of Running Your Time Bank Nuts and Bolts - Getting Ready to Roll
In this session, you will:
1.        Develop a Time Dollar "Elevator Pitch" that explains Time Dollars in less than minutes for prospective members a and organizations
2.        Learn to use the "Time Bank Start-Up Packet" of forms, brochures and flyers and the sample Members Handbook
3.        Understand the role of the Time Dollar coordinator and be able to identify the skills, capacities and qualities it takes
4.        Understand the role of the grassroots advisory board/kitchen cabinet and be \ ready to build/create one
5.        Determine what space, office equipment and supplies your will need to run your Time Bank
6.        Taking care of the legal requirements: insurance, a fiscal agent or 501(c)3
7.        Create a short Time Dollar presentation and do a "trial run" with your peers
8.        Start a list of prospects to begin outreach and marketing of your Time Bank
9.        Create your first list of ACTION STEPS for your Work Plan

Day 2 Morning : Nuts and Bolts
The Road and the Mileposts
Revisiting the vision: Where do you see your Time Bank one year, two years, three years down the road, and what are the mileposts you see?

Nuts and Bolts -- Outreach and recruitment of members
In this session you will:
1.        Engage in a simulated orientation for new members
2.        Conduct a simulated interview of a new member
3.        Learn about the follow through for new members
4.        Determine what are the key topics for your members handbook

Day 2- Afternoon : Action Planning
Facilitated Process for creating your own 3-month plan to get your Time Bank up and running using the tools you have just learned.

Close Out and Celebration
Length: 2 days

Group Size: up to 30 people

Cost: $1000 for 1-2 people. 

Group discount: $2000 3-5 people, $350 each person thereafter.

Cost includes materials.  For organization-sponsored training, travel expenses will be additional.
